Ah, je me suis régalé avec quelques tests divers sur internet, à commencer par celui référencé dans ce blog même, le "A quel point êtes vous américan?".
Bigre, je suis bien content de faire un score de 79 % ! Non seulement je me sens Européen Américanisé, mais en plus le test me confirme dans mon estimation.I just tremendously entertained myself with several quiz on the internet, and for starters the one recommended on this very blog : "How American Are You ?".
Gee, I am really happy that I score 79% ! Not only do I feel like an "Americanizing European", but moreover this test confirms my gut-feeling.

Je trouve ces tests quand ils sont intelligemment conçus absolument irrésistibles.

Et je ne puis m'empêcher, puisque j'en parle, de citer et d'encourager tout un chacun à s'essayer au "Plus Petit Test Politique" du monde. Loin d'être long ou barbant, ce test brillant est non seulement révélateur de sa propre opinion politique mais surtout il permet de se placer sur un échiquier politique bien plus complet et précis que les traditionnelles délimitations "gauche-droite" ou "progressiste-conservateur".

Le test est fait d'une dizaine de questions courtes auxquelles il est facile de répondre, mais derrière son apparente simplicité il est extrêmement sérieux: il est le fruit de décennies de recherches pour éviter de donner des opinions biaisées et pour être suffisamment robuste statistiquement parlant. I really think these tests, when smartly designed, are absolutely irresistible.

And I can't help myself, since I'm writing on the subject, to quote and to encourage each and everyone to take the "World's Smallest Political Quiz". Without ever being boring or lenghty, this brillant test is both revealing when it comes to one's political opinion, but more importantly it enables anyone to find its place on a political scale which is much more complete and precise than the traditional "left-right" or "progressive-conservator" limitations.

Je suis quelque peu étonnée de l'être autant, mais je crois que, lors de la grande distribution karmique des âmes, il y a dû avoir un grand tourbillon du genre tempête et mon âme, au lien de pénétrer dans le corps d'une lady américaine, a raté sa cible et est allée se perdre très loin de là, mais sa texture est probablement restée profondément américaine.
Je ne vois que cette explication ... Si quelqu'un a une autre idée ?

I'm slightly surprised to be that much american, but I guess that, during the great Karmik distribution of the souls, a great vortex must have happened, hurricane-like, and my soul instead of entering an american lady's body, missed its target and got lost very far from there, but its essence probably remained deeply american.

That's the only explanation I can fathom ... Unless somebody has a better idea ?
