- Lorsque Dieu créa le monde, Il décida de concéder deux vertus aux hommes de chaque peuple, afin qu'ils prospèrent.
Par exemple, Il rendit :
- Les Suisses précis et pacifistes
- Les Anglais flegmatiques et ironiques
- Les Japonais travailleurs et réalistes
- Les Italiens joyeux et humanistes
Quant aux Français, Il dit :
" Les Français seront intelligents, honnêtes et socialistes "
Lorsque le monde fut achevé, l'Ange qui avait été chargé de la distribution des vertus demanda à Dieu : " Seigneur, tu as dit que tu octroyais deux vertus à chaque peuple, mais les Français en ont trois. Est-ce pour cela qu'ils se placent au-dessus des autres ? "
" En vérité, je te le dis : chaque peuple a deux vertus y compris les Français, car chacun d'entre eux ne pourra en posséder que deux à la fois.
Ce qui veut dire que :
* Si un Français est socialiste et honnête, il ne sera pas intelligent.
* S'il est socialiste et intelligent, il ne sera pas honnête.
* S'il est intelligent et honnête, il ne peut pas être socialiste.
Il suffit d'attendre et on saura quelles vertus privilégient les Français ... "

THE ANSWER OF GOD
This morning in the mail I received this small text which finally explains it all … So that was it !
- When God created the world, He decided to concede two virtues to the men of each people, so that they could thrive.
For example, He distributed to the :
- Swiss : precision and pacifism
- English : phlegm and irony
- Japanese : hard-working and realistic
- Italians : merry and humanistic
And for the French, He said : " The French will be intelligent, honest and socialist "
When the world was completed, the Angel which had been in charge of the distribution of the virtues asked God :
" Lord, you said that you granted two virtues to each people, but the French have three of them. Is this the reason they always place themselves above the others ?
" In truth, I say to you : each people has two virtues, even the French, because they will only be able to use two of them at the same time.
Which means that :
* If a French is socialist and honest, he cannot be intelligent.
* If he is socialist and intelligent, he cannot be honest.
* If he is intelligent and honest, he cannot be socialist.
Let's wait and see which virtues the French place higher… " .
