C'est un jour important pour honorer les vétérans américains et tous ceux qui sont morts pour défendre la nation américaine et la Liberté. Et se souvenir aussi du sacrifice de leurs familles.
This is a great time to honor american veterans and those who have given their lives in defense of the american nation and the Liberty. And to also remember the sacrifice of their families.
En n'oubliant surtout pas, comme le magnifique Toby Keith, que l'Amérique est en guerre.

Au cimetière d'Arlington, dès le jeudi avant le Memorial Day, un drapeau est placé sur chaque tombe ( environ 300 000 ), par les soldats de la Old Guard.
Et ces soldats monteront la garde les trois jours suivants, pour être sûrs que les drapeaux ne seront pas touchés.
At Arlington, a flag is placed on each grave ( almost 300,000 ) on Thursday before Memorial Day by the Soldiers of the Old Guard.
These soldiers then stand guard for the next three days to make sure the flags are not disturbed.
