Mon Beau Sapin !
C'est lui ce sapin tout illuminé, enrubanné et enguirlandé, boules multicolores brillant de tous leurs feux, qui remplace pour nous maintenant, la cheminée d'antan. C'est sous lui, qu'on glisse encore nos chaussures chaque 24 décembre au soir.
Avec l'espoir toujours d'y trouver le lendemain, parmi nos cadeaux, celui inespéré auquel on n'aurait même pas pensé. Cela arrive certaines années ... On s'en souvient longtemps !

O CHRISTMAS TREE
Yes it's him, this fir tree higly enlightened, all ribbonned-up and garlanded to the top, with multicoloured balls shining of all their fires, that replaces for us the chimney of yore. And it's under him that we still slip our shoes on the evening of each December 24th.
With always the hope that we may see them filled the following day, with among our gifts that unhoped present we would not even have thought of. It happens, some years … And we remember them for a long time!
